    Anche quest’anno l’Open del Salento si è concluso. Ringrazio ancora una volta coloro che sono stati con noi, mai come quest’anno abbiamo avuto un tempo meteo eccezionale, una atmosfera magica e una presenza di soggiorno in albergo elevata e di durata superiore al solo periodo di svolgimento dell’evento.

  • Final ranking

    The Main Tournament winner of the 11th Salento International Open is Matthieu Pourquet (FRA – Elo 2178). The Rising Tournament winner is Luca Miglietta.

  • Campionato Regionale Giovanile Pugliese

    Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May, the top regional youth competition in Puglia will take place. Organized by the Salento Chess Academy in collaboration with Chess Projects ASD

  • Update 15/05/22

    Following the extension of the ELO range in the Main tournament with access to players with an ELO rating <2200 Chess Projects has decided to increase the prize money relating to this tournament by € 500.00 which is therefore redesigned in an improved version

  • Update 12/05/22

    According to FSI anti COVID-19 and Anti-Cheating security protocol players registered to the tournament will have to attend a dedicated meeting that will take place in the open area in front of the tennis court or at the lounge bar in front of the swimming pool on Saturday 14th May at 2.30 pm.

  • Update 27/04/22

    The new FSI health protocol for fight against Covid 19 is operational from today 27 April and has been published on the official website www.federscacchi.it
